Fallout Tactics developer profile: Parrish Rodgers [ N/A -> Interview ]
Interview posted by Ausir Fri 30 Jul 2004, 2:45 AM
Our interview with Parrish Rodgers about mostly unimportant stuff.

If you could make any game you wanted, what’d it be?

It would be great to make a persistent world bases on the film called Salute of the Jugger staring Rutger Hauer. This game would kick ass.

What are a few of your favourite games?

Grand Turismo, Driver, BustaGroove, Fallout games, C&C series.

Fallout Tactics developer profile: Alistair Phillips [ N/A -> Interview ]
Interview posted by Ausir Fri 30 Jul 2004, 2:45 AM
Our interview with Alistair Phillips about mostly unimportant stuff. If you could make any game you wanted, what'd it be?

It would be something like a mix between Metal Gear Solid and Tekken. It would have a good story driven plot, and have plenty of action, but it would require thinking to get by. You would need to be able to use your fire power when necessary but also be forced to use hand to hand when required ie a non-lethal take down or conserving ammo or to avoid detection.

What are a few of your favourite games?

GP 500, UT, Fallout, Half-Life, Commandos, Abe's Oddysee, Dungeon Keeper, The Lost Vikings, Metal Gear Solid, Tenchu, Crash Bandicoot, Prince of Persia.

What do you think will happen to computer games in years to come?

I think they will run amok, killing countless numbers of innocent civilians, until they finally turn on themselves.

What do you think will happen to computer games in years to come?

Get more like films where there are still some good titles done independantly but the bulk are big budget things driven by the tastes of the mass market as perceieved by a few studio bosses.

Our interview with Simon Lissaman about mostly unimportant stuff.

If you could make any game you wanted, what'd it be?

A third person action-adventure based on Doctor Who. It's a well known and liked property with lots of room for interesting art and gameplay.

What are a few of your favourite games?

I prefer vintage Lucasarts stuff like Dark Forces, Jedi Knight and TIE Fighter, although I do like Half Life as well. On the Network, I like Tribes, UT, Counter Strike and Quake. I also love mid-to-late 80's coin-ops like Midnight Resistance, Strider, Rolling Thunder and Ghouls & Ghosts.

Interview posted by Ausir Fri 30 Jul 2004, 2:43 AM
Our interview with David Levin about mostly unimportant stuff.

If you could make any game you wanted, what'd it be?

Something dark and frightening. Along the lines of AVP in terms of Atmosphere and Mood but with story and plot elements. A non-restrictive game, where you are free to be the good guy or alternatively the most evil, sick little puppy you are too afraid to admit is inside you.

What are a few of your favourite games?

Sam and Max, X-wing, Tex Murphy Series, Zelda series, AVP

I just finished Start Trek New Worlds recently. I also wrote dialogue for Y2K the Game (a very small game).

If you could make any game you wanted, what'd it be?

Well, something along the lines of an FPS with RPG elements. I love the action and I'm real big on storyline.
