Is it a real No.5? There's a lot of reworked counterfits on the market and if you found a real one for that price you should be arrested for theft! Seriously, good buy!

It does appear to be, the low price I should think is due to the fact that it's not from the war. Either that or the guy didn't realize what it was really worth.

I got mine for $140, pretty sure it's authentic, but I won be angry if it's not.

The only surplus bolt action I have is a Mosin Nagant 91/30 built with a 1928 stamped receiver, but it shoots better than any other $100 gun I've ever owned.
