Update: Fallout 3 leaves pre-production - not really
[ Game -> Update ] - More info on Game: Fallout 3

I've been told that this month's PC Gamer had a mini-interview with Bethesda and was told that Fallout 3 has been 2 months in development as of E3 2006. I don't have a transcript of this yet, so if anyone feels like going down to the store and finding this, be my guest.

Update: Thanks to Briosafreak for pointing out a scan of (what probably is) this article at NMA. Seems the text isn't as clear as the guy who told me made out.

You may want to correct a bit, Teatime. The article doesn't mention it leaving pre-production, and there's no reason to believe it's out of pre-production just because "development began in earnest".Mr. Teatime wrote:Thanks for that, Brios.
Of course in all honesty we know a lot more BethSofters are working on it now and it probably IS out of pre-production, but no official word on it.

Waiting for real news...
What are the requirements for Oblivion? DAC will not be able to run Fallout 3, that is for sure.
Edit: Except for Frater Perdurabo, I guess.

There are no 'knowns'. There are thing we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say there are things that we now know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know. So when we do the best we can and we pull all this information together, and we then say well that's basically what we see as the situation, that is really only the known knowns and the known unknowns. And each year, we discover a few more of those unknown unknowns.

I don't get how this is new news. It's only logical to assume that after completing the last game on their menu they move to the next. Oblivion, check. Fallout, ready set go.
And yes. Bad mods.

I'm not upgrading for anyone! It's all just a conspiracy to get more of my money. There is no way in hell I'm buying a 360!
