FOBOS does something good for a change?

Say it ain't so, but it is. Seems today in CWP we were talking about crooked business practices, and one of the things on the jobsheet is read an section from that fat blowhard Michael Moore's book Downsize This! entitled "Why doesn't GM Sell Crack?" We then had to give our opinion of the section in 150 words (I got around 750, but that's because I was ranting). Seems Moore came up with five laws to prevent big companies from screwing over their employees. One of these laws I thought applied really well to Intersuck, and I actually agreed with Moore on this one, it was number five:

Require boards of directors of publicly owned corporationsto have representation from both workers and consumers. A company will run better if it has to listen to the people who have to build and/or use the products the company makes.

Seems the boys down at Interplay decided that we didn't know what we wanted, so they were going to tell us what it was we want instead, and then when fans bitched about it, they locked them out and wouldn't listen, then fired off their best people. It's like they were intentionaly trying to kill themselves. Just explaining that got me around 300 words. I'm thinking I might go down in history as finding one of the few non-clay pigeon uses for FOBOS. Do I get a medal or a flaming bag of shit?

You can get both, but the medal is inside the flaming bag of shit and you have to get it out without extinguishing the fire or using protective clothing.

By the way, it was either Interplay didn't know what we want, as you said, or Interplay didn't give a radrats arse what we want. I just hope it's the former.

I said that Interplay didn't care what we want, it was basicly telling us that we didn't know what we wanted, so they were going to tell us.

If I have to dig around in a flaming bag of shit for a lousey medal, well, I'll just save mysdelf the time and masturbate and go to bed.

Hmm, did you talk about Interplays new marketing idea of "Consoles sell tons so lets abandon our old user base?". Regardless, article/paper sounds interesting, any chance of getting a copy?

Interplay generally seems to have hired the dregs of the marketing employee barrel or have adopted a really stupid "me too" policy.
