Problem With Tactics Editors

Ok I downloaded the Fallout Tactics: BOS Savegame Editor the-by Khor Chin Heong Bosche 3.1-extracted the files, and started it up, and selected a savegame but it wouldnt start up. It said "an unnamed file has not been found" watever that means. It said this for all my save games. So i deleted it and downloaded the BOS Edit 1.3.0.27 by Cortex. It worked when i loaded my game, so i changed the stats, and saved it. But why dont the stats i changed show up on the game. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks.
