Favourite Post Apocalyptic type stuff

I am looking for a repository of media on post apocalyptic stuff. The main thing I can think of is movies or tv shows, but books or comics or graphic novels, or even favourite music pertaining some way to post apocalyptic things is welcome.

So as I'm unaware whether you've all done this before and the thread is lurking, lost in the wasteland or something, I'd be obliged if all you fine denizens post your favourite post-apocalyptic movie, book, game, whatever, and why you like it. Also feel free to discuss the merits or demerits of things mentioned.

You might like Apocalypse Lane. It's an online animated show from the same guy who made Prostitute Mickey. The first episodes aren't too great but it definately gets better, unfortunately it has recently reached its conclusion.

If I had friends I would only live for them to die. Plus everyone dies anyway.

you'd have to filter (which is probably the opposite of what youre going for) but io9.com turns up some good nuggets now and again
