Woa, that's fancy, never seen one of those before. This could breath some life back to the PnP genre.

I would play the game if I didnt have to paint those little fuckers, and if cooler individuals played it.

oh nevermind, i was thinking of warhammer. I would never play D&D, unless it was a life or death situation, yaknowwhaimean?

If I was ever going to play a PnP it would have to be on one of those.

Most of the guys I play it with regularly are pretty cool, though I agree there are a lot of questionable individuals outside of my group.

I'm talking Warhammer 40k of course. I played D&D for two or three sessions and couldn't stand it.

Trufax - Most people who play warhammer play DnD.

yeah seen that somewhere
I've got mixed feelings to be honest
the fact that the environment and creatures etc are described by the (skillful) DM is one of the strengths of traditional roleplaying.
I'd find a cumputar useful to do the calculations though.

In the vid the computer calculates a path for the monster so it doesn't get any attacks of opportunity underway, and fails.
I like the idea, but I'd rather see it for something else, like warhammer.

Table would have to be bigger, but think of a landscape where everytime you select a unit, the table recognises what it can see and adjusts the visuals for the landscape. So everything behind terrain would go dark.

It would be a nice impartial help for a lot of situations.

So am I safe to assume internet cafes could have them, that probably counts as a "leisure company" right?

I mean, you would have to crawl out from under whatever isolated rock your under and call some buddies to enjoy it anyway...

That game called Ruse comes to mind, actually. I could see something very much like that being made for that kind of pc.
