don't beat yourself up SD, the joke was delightfully corny. It was actually a piece for a contest judged by a pixar animator, and while i wasn't the winner, it did catch his eye and it was one of three or four he really liked so its all good.

Anyway, this concerns everyone at DAC- I am in the process of drawing up the official DAC t-shirt and I want everyone's input. This is what I've got going thus far-

Image

The drawing on the left is obviously my version of a pretty recognizable fallout screenshot. It's in the sketchy/inky phase right now so don't be too judgmental just yet on that. On the right is a very loose layout of the whole design, with the vault dweller in the center of a fallout shelter symbol. Let me know what y'all think. The colors are also not set in stone either yet but I do think the shirts should be a dark gray.

I like the concept. Should the website be on there somewhere, or would it be best to leave it as a mystery?

If the website isn't listed on there, people will just assume it's the clothing retailer.

Good work on the design, DML, but I would just put the vault dweller in a regular circle - the radiation symbol doesn't read well with something obscuring most of it, and the traditional yellow might be distracting.

ah yes thanks KOC for reminding me to put the damn website on the shirt.. I really can't believe I forgot to put it on there.

Retlaw thanks for the feedback. The colors are not finalized. I just chose them so you could clearly see the rough layout. The vault dweller will be colored fully and not be completely in blue.

I was worried about the relation between the three major parts with the fallout shelter troubling me most. Not sure how it will turn out but I like the circle with him in the middle. I would like to add some element to the circle but not sure what. It should maybe symbolize something epically important and unique to our website..

I will add a little ".cx" to the end of the Duck and Cover perhaps.

Also I kinda wanted to include a little caption as well. Any ideas for the ideal caption that sums up DAC?

maybe "Us guys are hilarious" or "its guys like us that give perversion a bad name"

"Us guys are hilarious" is a good one, or the black tar heroine quote, but I doubt many people would find it, outside of us, funny in (semi)polite company.

Why not just go with the classic "You're safe -- and you know it!"

I'd take out the radiation symbol. The vault dweller would be more visible that way.
