i asked guard guy at the entrance about the skullz and got the mission to beat em up i killed them and the town is after me wtf did i do wrong?

Killed or shot a guard at the bar fight did you? In this mission, in my experience, the town & guards get very hostile if you do.

and you can't just barge right in to the skulz and kill them, it has to be done proper, by the book....
