Cristmas recipe s

Post by Mismatch »

Hay fagets, now I'll teach you sods to make glögg.
Needed:
1 bottle of red wine (70cl-100cl)
10 cl (1 deciliter) vodka or similar spirits
4-5 pieces of cinnamon sticks (you know them thingies, about 1" long)
1-2 pieces of ginger (about 1"*1"*0.5" in size)
1-2 teaspoons of cardamom seeds
1-2 pieces of Seville orange peel
2-3 deciliters of sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar.

Grind the cardmom and crush the cinnamon, chop the Seville orange peel
and smash the cardamom seeds... Try to damage the ginger to the best of
your ability.

Put them spices and the spirits in a glass jar and close with a lid.
Let this rest for about 24hours so that the taste of them spices goes into the alcohol.

Filter the mix through some sorta of coffee filter or similar, somehow separate the spices from the liquid. How you do it isnt important.

Mix the wine and the spiced up alcohol, add sugar and vanilla sugar to your liking and stir until all sugar is dissolved.
Pour into bottle and serve it hot.
Not boiling hot mind you, just nicely hot.
Well above room temperature, and chit, just not boiling.
Like tea I suppose, hot but not boiling. Boiling will make the alcohol go away D: And well, it gets a funneh taste..

So, post your christmas recepies, Im especially interested in a christmas schapps mix...

Hey thanks for the recipe, although you can buy really good ready-made glögg in liquor stores(and you can add more alcohol if you want to). The best ones usually cost quite a bit and you have to taste to find one of your liking.

I'm not much of a baker, but here's an online recipe for ginger cookies:

3 dl syrup
2 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. bitter orange peel
3 eggs
300 g sugar
400 g butter
2 tbls. water
1 tbls. soda
800 g white flour

Let syrup and spices (powder) boil some minutes. Beat the mixture until it cools. Work the butter and pour the mixture of spices into the butter. Whisk eggs and sugar well. Mix it carefully to the mixture of butter and spices (do not beat). Add soda to water and add it to the dough. Finally, add white flour.

Let it rest overnight coverd with flour in refrigerator.

Roll out the dough using plenty of flour. Make cookies of different shape using forms

Bake in oven (200 centigrades) about 7 minutes.

About the glög:

Just get a big tin / wood pint, fill around 4/10 of the pint with strong and sour cranberry juice and then empty a bottle of vodka in it. Heat it if you like. MERRY XMAS LOL

good ol' fashioned curry

4 chicken breasts
1 onion
1 clove of garlic
1 pepper
Some chilis I guess
Basil
Coriander
Cumin
Ginger
Tumeric
Butter

Cut up chicken into dogfood chunks and put it in pan with a little oil or whatever. Chop up onion and mabye half a pepper. It's good to use different types if you like eating food huh. Mabye add some water as you don't want your dogfood getting covered in burnt shit. Grind up the garlic with good ol' garlic crushing machine and put that in then just put every spice in and stir for half an hour. And add a tablespoon of butter.

That should last a few days if you're a little kid huh. Freeze some and just whip it out when you want some curry huh. Eat with rice but don't stir the fucking rice jeez.

Not really very Christmasy, but make some and think of me when you are all alone and are being nostalgic about the good 'ol days of DAC 1.3/4/5.

Only one question: what the heck is a Spazmo chicken?
How appropriate. You fight like a cow.

Delicous. Avoid if not good with very hot curries. Great after lots of beer!

Santas tortilla and cheese

2 flower tortillas
butta'
chedder cheese in the shredded stuff

Put one tortilla down and put some BUTTA' on it then sprinkle the cheese all over the tortilla. Make sure its covered thick and evenely, then put some BUTTA' on the other tortilla and put it on top of the other one. Put it in the microwave(cover it) and depending on the power of your microwave set it for about 45 seconds.

Sometimes the outer edges will look like the cheese is melted then you take a bite into it and find cheese cakes so cook it a little more than you would expect. Cut the finished tortilla in quarter size, then eat.

Sub-indian Holiday Knockout

2 dashes absinthe
3 dashes anisette
1 pony french vermouth
1 pony dry gin
1 teaspoon white creme de menthe
a cherry
a big bucket
a turban ( optional )

First off, this is not for children below the age of 12, so if you got kids of your own, or borrowed ones, kill them and blame it on the black man. Get a glass the size of your bladder, and start the pouring off with the gin and the vermouth. Jiggle the glass around for a bit untill you're uncomfortable. Then as swiftly and splashy as possible, give the drink a good dash of absinthe and a possibly worthless dash of anisette. Finally, add creme de menthe, and eat the cherry raw, or if you like, put it in the drink. It might mutate, and then the turban is handy to cover it up with, but any hatlike thingamabob would probably do the trick. For the full effect, drink what's left in the bottles before you even consider touching the drink.

After intoxicating yourself with booze, put the bucket over your head and go outside.

'Together' has 3 syllabes and 'fur' only one, so how come they're pronounced the same way?
