Error when starting fallout 2

So, it says "not enough diskspace, recruired is 20Mb"

running on win2k, have played it before on this very pc.

How do it get it to work?

Free diskspace = 12gig

Hmm..I forgot how to solve this one. But I believe Khagan does!

It has something to do with the game not recognizing NTFS from Fat32 since NTFS supports a much larger hdd than FAT32 does or something so. make a 2gb partition, problem solved.

making a partition is to much noise of such small error, i belive there must be another way to cope with this fucking shit. PISS! SHIT! ARSE!

i have myself solved this error along time ago but i cant remmeber how to fix it now, my memory are failing.

That problem may randomly occur, though it happens mostly if paths to the big game files are altered, iirc.

Just reinstall the whole thing and copy the old savegames to the new installation, that should be the easiest and surest solution to your problem.

As i reinstalled it and patched it with various patches i stood there gazing at how boring the game infact is. so i uninstalled it.
