i don't get the hype

just another running man / battle royale / whatever rehash with a touch of superficial and overstated societal critique. i thought it was pretty boring too, fast-forwarded through a bunch of pointless shit. the dialogue of the english-speaking actors was embarrassing and the "twist" of the last episode was irrelevant

binge-worthy more like cringe-worthy

The only thing new I suppose was that this time they made a voluntary choice to play it. But yes very bleak.
