Junky, I wondered what happened to you. Send me the map and I'll take a look and offer suggestions.

Well, Junky, if you don't have one already in the map, you could throw in a bar, a garage, a big-ass storage warehouse, a barracks, an "entertainment room," or something along those lines.
Closing our eyes forces us to look
At the darkness inside.
Our emotions always find us
Regardless of where we hide.

If you have a warehouse, make sure there are a lot of wooden crates.

For originality, you know.

It doesn't look bad Junky, but let me give you a little advice on repetitive tiles. Here is what your map looks like, notice you used the same tile for the ground at the top of the picture:

Here is a map that shows how a good ground should look:

It is best not to start off making a map from scratch, or at least learn Red's methods for making and using Tile Sets. To save time take one of the random encounter maps and start building off of that. Open it up as tiles only so all of the spawns are stripped.

You seem to have a big expanse of nothingness that could be filled with cactus and rocks and maybe mud puddles to break up the monotony. I think you have enough buildings, just fill it in with junk to make it look post-apocalyptic. And another thing to consider is what is your mission going to be about? Think about a storyline which should influence how the map is going to be laid out. Maybe your main hero is supposed to ride into town in his buggy to kill a raider leader at the local bar? Just fill it in from there.

Hope that helps.

Heh, there's so many ways to break the monotony... Make some of the ground slanted, make a dip or um... whatever's the oposite of a dip... change the tile type for a bit...

Of course that's ommiting the usual "use artefact tiles" and "weed/rock/whatever" deals...

You can really make lucious environments with the tiles supplied in the full game...

Yea i knew about my tiles its a big problem i have , i wanted to be sure if i should have added a building or two before adding all the trees and rocks you know the little things that makes a great map .

For the Storyline i want to create a squad that must destroy the raiders garage (By that i mean the cars gas and stuff like that) or to steal the cars im still not sure on that . Second i want to force the player to think with is head instead of with is gun like maybe send is Stealth guy in the base to open the front door and start an all out war or to go in and be a deadly team of specialist in different skills . With also kill a leader or two in the process :)
