Read it and weep. Rarely have I seen so foolish a crowd or inept moderation.

Yeah it's me. Was tough replying to it all the time though, some new quote or response kept popping up, it's like getting overrun by ants with puny arguments instead of fangs.
I don't know what to do about the crashes/freezes, wait for a patch I guess?
I wasn't kidding, oblivion did the exact same thing for a while, but not so much.

Hilariously stupid and lacking in common sense, the lot of them. They seem more concerned by the crashes than the clear logic failures in certain parts of the game.
"When conversing about oligarchy, you must consider this point: Many children are taught from an early age that monarchies are primarily benevolent, and are given very little to discourage this opinion until at least adolesence. Even more prevalent are stories about the supposed benevolence of heirs to the throne, symbolising a cycle which they are taught is good."
couldn't disagree more. Performance wise... the game runs beautifully on my PC. I've not had a single crash (only have about 8 hours on my saved game). I think they have done a remarkable job at capturing the Fallout feel. I just replayed Fallout 1 and 2 over the summer in anticipation for this game. They have nailed the environment perfectly! I love running into a wandering scavenger and his broken down robot, or sticking close to a group of hunters as they approach a raider camp, or bumping into Brotherhood of Steel as they chase down an eyebot from the Enclave. This game lives up to the hype and I'm unsure why so many "Fallout fans" seem disappointed. I'm a Fallout Fan and LOVE this rendition!
---I haven't met a scavenger w/ a broken down robot, raiders fighting anybody except once when a talon mercenary happened to be chasing me into them, and the BoS only fought super mutants when it was scripted outside of the radio station.
WTF? What game is this guy playing - I've been playing easily for 20 hours already, and haven't seen this once, and barely found Dogmeat right before the last time I turned it off...????

Also, am I the only one who sees the reeking damn irony in this thread?

Flamer.
Anyway, besides that audio thing the game is running perfectly without glitches.
Well yea, there tens to be more bugs with higher settings than lower, and by that I mean crashes in my case. Or not.So running a game with maxed out graphics is the ultimate indicator of stability? Check.
