yeah I know. I mistook the pain after biking for the pain you normally get after hard exercise, I even played some bball after that :rolleyes:. And the next day when I was playing bball for real, the first pain didn't feel big because my adrenaline and testosterone levels were boosted from the exercise, and I didn't feel like being a sissy. Then came the bigger pain and it was too late. I'm happy the muscle isn't torn worse.
Perhaps drink lots of water and eat bananas as they usually help with muscle stuff.

about my injury, I'm gonna regularly rub in some anticoagulant heparin gel to make the blood flow better and heal the leg faster. I'm also considering some laser or cryotherapy treatment. And perhaps I'll buy some elastic shorts/underpants to keep the thigh warmer.

As for other sport injuries.. nothing really spectacular.. the better ones are when I sprained my ankle so bad I couldn't walk for a month and run for three months and when I hurt the joint in my left indexical finger so bad that the tendons got contracted because of long inflammation. Thanks to 6 months' rehabilitation I am now almost able to straighten the finger up.

I'm actually serious about eating bananas, they help heal the muscles. One of our basketball coaches told us to eat bananas to help our soar muscles after conditioning. He said they make you poop and everyone giggled and he sighed at how immature we were.

Well, I eat several bananas weekly and I rarely have sore muscles(yes, I do work out sporadically). I can also confirm the part about pooping. My knowledge of the physiological effects are lacking in this subject, but as a post-exercise snack, they carry out their objective. :salute:

You also might wanna try pineapple if you have swelling. Pineapple contains an anti inflamatory agent to reduce swelling and help you heal faster.

I don't eat bananas too often 'cos I don't like them that much.
I actually do take anti-inflammatory stuff (paracetamolum now - also helps with the little flu I just got; soon switching to ketoprofenum gel) and potassium (with other vitamins) so eat your dam bananas and pineapples yourself. Also, human body does not assimilate vitamins from fruit too good. You need meat and animal fat for good assimilation.

And I don't have fucking cramps, I have torn fibers in my muscle.
