Has anyone played this yet?

i bought it at the weekend, its a beautiful aestheticlly pleasing game in the command and conquer and sudden strike fashion. As RTS's go, this one is by far the best i've played in a long long time.
3 campaigns, german, russian and allied. The game takes off with the german invasion of poland, and ends with the allied occupation of germany. the tanks, troops planes terrain and buildings etc.. are fantastic looking, the gameplay is top notch, some fairly mediocre voice acting though.
All units gain experiance through fighting in a semi rpg-ish way, so fresh units are truly rookies, until they've survived a few battles. Battles won, earns you prestige, the more prestige, the more units you can have (purchase) up to a maximum of 25 units. All in all, its a good strategy game.

well worth the 50 euro i paid for it.

I was gonna get it, but then I tried ShoWW2 ... I like more of the Tactical / Operational, less of the Strategical.

Well jeez, you could've made it all easier if you had said Soldiers: Heroes of World War 2 from the start.
