HELP A NEWGUY

Ok heres the deal, i'm new and i registered in the DAC forums for the sole purpose of finding the answer to my problem. What folder do the custom portraits from the portrait packs go in? I tried the Gui\char folder but all i got were the basics and some that i had installed a while back *They installed by themself somehow* Do i remove or move something!? Please help!

core/gui/char/

That's where they're supposed to be. Only thing I can think of is if the .zars are in the zip with a particular path saved with them. When you look at your core/gui/char/ folder, are the .zar files actually there?

Do a search for them on your drive for *.zar but they should go in that folder. Place them there manually if need be.
