Would anyone be interested in a westerned themed mod? It's Kashluk's idea, so I just want to know.

Kashluk was going to do a western mod for FOT way back at the end of last year. Got us all excited but we're still waiting for it.

What about an FOT mod based in remote isolated Utah that features a religous cult as the main enemy and threat to the balance of power in the wasteland? lots of secret military bases in UTAH....who knows what they have in store for a party of travelers.

Actually, I'm thinking of restarting my project. Got a new computer and all and FOT 1.27 just installed in.

You might want to think about doing it for FO2 rather than FOT, okay it's probaby not as easy to map for unless you know the scripting and it doesn't have all the combat options, stances multiple elevations etc. But you've got a far bigger scope for the RPG side which is really the more important part and most of all you're likely to be able to make it a total conversion, given people are starting to make new character art for FO2, you'd maybe able to get someone to make some cowboys etc, with long duster coats instead of armour.
Just my 2ps worth.

I'm thinking of going for a simple western FOT map (for now). Someone with more skills and free time can be my guest and try to do it better with FO2. My ideas are not patented, they're free for everyone to use.

as much as i trust in requiems word, i think a western style tactics would be interesting as long as you can modify the armors to look more western like and get the western style structures, like redwood in fallout 2. but still, i guess theres still only a limit to editors these days
