@Retlaw, sure we have it, we call it green goo. This is the current process for building mutie units; the Unity starts out with one mutant melee unit and can not build more. They can enslave units by attacking, which gives them a special unit called Mutie slave. When they research Genetics and FEV virus they will be able to upgrade the Mutie slaves to Mutant melee units as long as they have the required resources in their strategic resource box. Then when they increase their tech they can further upgrade to other mutie units.

@Kashluk, i never gave up on it, but at times my team bailed and it was just me working on it. It just got slow at times.

Most of the gfx and interface has been finalised, doing the tech tree now. Thats the biggest pain in the ass, trying to coordinate the techs and their gfx and availability.

This boys and girls, is why you DON'T want to stick your head into a radscorpion nest without LOTS of backup, you never know if a Deathclaw will show up pissed off and hungry. :eyebrow:

While watching the Enclave AI's turn in debug mode I noticed the AI send its only Early Powered Armor into this nest of Radscorpions. Now I knew what was there, so I had a good show as this PRICELESS unit, at the beginning of the mod, almost died. But the Powered Armor's disengage ability allowed it to run away just before he died and became Claw chow.

Well folks the time has come to post the beta. It is not finished, but it is stable and playable. If you all wish to see it completed, then by all means play the mod, take notes and give feedback!:lol:

There are two downloads, the main mod file and the music. I have replaced all of civ's music and ambient sounds with Fallout's music and my special made tin rattling in the wind wav.

If you do not wish to use the music just delete or rename the music.txt file in the main scen text folder.

When you install the mod just unzip it to your C drive. If you have not used the default location for civ, redirect as necessary.

It requires the expansion Conquests and the latest patch for conquests, which is 1.22

Below are a couple of screenshots from the latest version. Once again it is not finished, but just a good beta.

Cthulhu thanks. Flamand has some ideas for the civilopedia screens, and the tech tree is not finished yet and then we still have lots of units to add once we get the tech tree more firmed up. Those are the main things that need to be done.

i havent got civ 3, but i would consider downloading it to try this out, maybe. it looks interesting. good work, hombre
