How did casper die?

My friend said he froze to death at christmas, but this doesn't make any sense?

if i remember correctly he went sledding on his new sled he got for christmas and got lost and froze to death. either that or some crips busted a cap in his ass.

Casper's family was rich right? My theory is that the frozen thing is a cover story, I think he was killed in a motel room Bob Crane style or it was drug related, you know he was a rich playboy with foxy ladies hanging off him, a Friday night party gets a little out of hand and he has a little more than his fair share blow, bam, overdose and they dump him on his parent's lawn.

The sled thing. Cept he got sick from the cold and died in bed with his loving family by his side, no getting lost and frozen to death, nor was any santa or "crips" involved. Neither was Casper rich, his father was a failing inventor. That is if we're talking about the "friendly ghost" Casper. Which we are.

Anyways we're all gonna die soon. The asteroid comes! Don't believe the scientists.

Aren't they both made by Hanna-Barbara? All those cartoons look the same, primary colors and no detail. Look at the similarities between these two animated characters :p
