Bicycle EXPARTS HELP ME.
Bicycle EXPARTS HELP ME.
I bought new alloy pedals but my old ones (plastic) are firmly fucking lodged into my crank
i think riding my bike through 2 entire canadian winters might have something to do with it... i'm thinking the rod that attaches the pedal to the crank arm is rusted and fused with the crank, but i don't know it doesn't look too bad, i tried weely hard to wrench it out but no good
is there a special tool, like a powered wrench thingie that i can use to unscrew it? it's really weird trying to unscrew bolts from a crank since it likes to rotate as if u were pedaling, this fucking sucks.

There are anti-rust sprays, which you use on the screws themselves.
Maybe the screws are a bit bent, it happens to the pedals because they take all the pressure. When this shit happens to me, I go and see my 300 lb bicycle repairman who could possibly wrench a bulls head off. He has a hard time getting the pedals off, but he usually manages it.
If all fails: get two new cranks.

hey
If you allow your bike to rust, then you deserve the trouble.
