I think thegraphics for Stalker and Hl2 are almost tied, Stalker quite a bit more detail though.

Yeah, because if you look on the bottom wrist of the stalker, you can see his veins going over the tendons in his arm.

Pretty damn cool.

The physics for the game or utterly mind blowing, I like the "rag doll" effects for the falling dead bodies.

This is on topic, we are talking about the graphics of a game compared to HL2, this is not spam.

Anyway, I think that Hl2 has better monsters than STALKER. They look much cooler, I don't know about the Doom 3 monsters though, haven't seen them.

DOOMIII looks a hell of a lot better i'm afraid, though i think I'll prefer HL2 by far. I've played the DOOMIII Alpha. It was truly amazing.

Lighting is the best feature. I've never seen a game where shadows look real, but in DOOMIII it is not a deusex style flat black texture, but a misty gloomy pure lack of light... You can only see the zombies by the glowing orange pin-pricks of their eyes.

The physics are lovely aswell, but they weren't fully implemented in the leaked version.

HalfLife 2 Will Win. Because you can kill people by throwing radiators at them.

Google search 'Karma Mathengine Physics' and find the karma physics demo, set in a dojo-like room full of objects and interactives... absolutely amayzin ^_^

Hey, thanks T-900. But I can't really say what is better because I haven't seen the DOOM 3 stuff. It seems very scary to only see zombi eyes in complete darkness.

Yeah, ok I see your point. But that is not what we where saying. I was just saying how the physics where good and so on ans so forth. You know conversations should not be dictated. Have you ever really had a conversation that actually stayed "on topic" no, you'd always end up talking about something else eventually. Yeah, I understand why you need to block spam and stuff, but it's like the littlest thing and then I get scolded for just carrying on a conversation. That's what I have to say about this.

Graphics aren't everything without a solid story and gameplay. Case in point: almost every iD game ever made. Of course, they MAY change this with Doom III, but who knows. My safe bet on the best FPS' this year: HL2 and Deus Ex 2.
