2000 Compatability mode?

Post by Doyle »

I tried to enable Windows 2000 compatability mode by using the regsvr32 %systemroot apppatchslayerui.dll command, but when I do that I get an error that says something like LoadLibrary ("%systemroot") failed - The specified module could not be found.

Anyone know what the problem would be? Am I doing something stupid?

Glad to help. ;)

What do you need compatibility mode for? An old game/program?

Don't even bother with MechWarrior2, it just can't run on anything but win95... regardless of compatibility. (just said this 'cause I recently tried it)
