Getting to know your Avatar

So many people have different avatars. I'm just asking to know what you're avatar is and why you chose it. My avatar is a concept art for Half-Life 2, I chose it because I can't wait for Half-Life 2 and it reminds me of Power Armor.

My avatar is Guybrush Threepwood, mighty pirate, who rocks for reasons that are quite obvious. I chose him because he's a mighty pirate who rocks for obvious reasons.

Mine is a scan from my old Hellenic Greek schoolbook (I did Latin and Hellenic Greek). It's a picture of a Roman copy of a Greek statue depicting the Cyclops from the Odyssee.

Mines an Enclave soldier amd I picked it because I like the way they look but I was thinking of changing it.

My av is a Civil Defense emblem. Fairly appropriate for moderating on boards dealing w/things post apocalyptic, IMHO. I also have been known to use a portion of the cover from Heinlein's Stranger in a Strange Land, but only because if I used Friday I'd get hit on in PMs...

Mine was chosen as a likely match for my nick, however I have no clue to it's origin & will eventually get around to changing it. Then again, perhaps not, I haven't found anything I like better.

OTB: The Friday cover would be good for a chuckle but I just can't see it on you.
