28 Days Later Trailers

Post by Mad Max RW »

<strong>[ -> N/A]</strong>

<html><body><P>I saw these yesterday and thought it was pretty cool. There are a couple <A HREF=http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox_searc ... ays_later/ target=_blank>trailers</A> for the zombie flick <I>28 Days Later</I>, due in North American theaters June 27th. The first is your basic trailer shown on television and movie previews. The other gives you a taste of the first six minutes of the film. If you&#8217;re a fan of monkeys <A HREF=http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox_searc ... ays_later/ target=_blank>check it out</A>.</P><body></html>

the first 6 minutes are absolutely nothing like the rest of the film...

if you've ever had the misfortune to watch the day of the triffids.. it's very like that..

and the camera effects are worse than the blair witch project....

but that said, it's a bloody good storyline, and would have been better if it was a big budjet hollywood thing...

set in newyork or something...

i can't believe you are only getting it now..
it's out on dvd over here already...

I've seen all the previews for it at the theather I work at. Looks sweet as hell. Sadly though, our competitor down the road is getting it. Now I have to pay to go see it. But I did get the cardboard standie for the movie though. That's sweet, got it set up in my basement.

Um the camera effects make the movie, the effect is excelent on 35mm projected on a movie screen however the transition to DVD takes a lot out of them.

He means it's better in a theather than on DVD on your TV.

I'm I the only one who thought the 6 minute preview looked like a terrible british TV show? I can't believe you guys are praising that video, it looks like shit.

I agree, I was hoping it would be something like "THE DAY AFTER."

Original ending was cool, Jim dies in a hospital and Celina and the young lass walk off guns in hand to oblivion. No "rest of world survives" 'twist', no happy ending, would have been much better.

Speaking of endings.

I thought the orignal Night of living dead had a great ending. Was nice to see everyone die
Another awesome signature :(

Agreed. The original Night of the Living Dead is the only zombie movie I like. Unless you want to count The Omega Man as having zombies.

The remake put a good spin on it as well.

Now i really want to see a zombie film about the uper echelons of the millitary or politics reacting to the situation. Weve had countless films about Joe Bloggs vs. zombie hoard. Lets see how the men at the top would react for a change.

Either that or have a brigade level action vs. zombie hoard with tanks for extra fun.

Something like Dr. Strangelove with zombies instead of nukes? Yeah, that would rock.
How appropriate. You fight like a cow.
