Bigger, but certainly not better. Compare the storyline, central themes, and atmosphere of the two, for example. Fallout 1, if smaller, was richer, better-developed, and unforgettable.

some from Tactics and some from 1.

Fo 2 was bigger, had somewhat imporved NPC's & interface but lacked the plot of FO1. It was highly frustrating to recieve the first released patch & have it nuke ones saved games causing the player to have to start over again. There were numerous other bugs & incomplete quests that drove me insane etc, however I did enjoy FO2.

Fallout 1 had a tighter plot & made one feel like you were out to DO something. I rushed by a lot of quests afraid that I might not be able to complete my mission if I spent too much time mucking about. It was fun, tight & kind of short but still gets the thumbs up as the better game of the two in my opinion.

On Polls... errr, we've recently trimmed back a lot of older posts etc so you may have not been aware that similar polls have been posted in the past. They are conscidered to mostly be an annoyance here at DaC, mainly because the subjects chosen tend to be either stupid or highly suspect hehe.
