Boycotting Interplay is fairly easy to do, since they rarely make anything worth getting in the first place. It's almost like staying in the city and vowing never to step in cow crap. The last money they got from me was for Fallout Tactics, two years ago. Since then, they haven't made anything remotely worth looking at cross eyed, and I wasn't really thrilled with Fallout Tactics either.

Also, if Interplay bites the bullet, ups and dies, I don't really see that as a terrible thing even though BIS is attached to them as long as better companies out there have job opennings for the talented people under the thumbs of Herve Caen currently. I don't think there could possibly be a company out there with worse management principles than Interplay right now, so the only place for those people to go is up and on to something better in the industry.

General talk about piracy is usually let go, like just talking about and how utterly wrong it is, although links and stuff are no-nos, and'll get your arse in trouble. In fact, I think this is someone where in that FAQ when you registered. Speaking of which, has anyone ever read that thing?

But, do relise that supporting piracy opens you up to critisim from the anti-pirates like myself.

Nope, instead I will continue to treat them as I treat every other Gaming House. Create a game that I want – sale.. create something I don’t want – no sale.

I was thinking maybe a boycott wouldn't be good.
If we buy any good games they make, and don't buy bad games they make, maybe, just maybe they will make good games. Of course, that theory is probably flawed since Interplay doesn't play by the normal rules.

Hah, my thoughts exactly! I've been "boycotting" IPLY because they've put out rather shitty games lately, but if they made a good one again, sure I'd buy it.

No reason to boycott. I'll probably give FOBOS a rent, just for shits n giggles but there's still a chance that eventually they'll start turning out good shit again.

Forgive the brief OTage here.

Jack, that picture in your sig is too long. Please remove it, for the sake of our eyes. Thank you.

DM, I changed it to something bigger and bulkier than what he complained about. It had Steven Seagal in it.

Yes I've seen it. And it's like what 8-9 (well maybe less I"m not sure, but Jack's had it all along and low and behold it shows up in a trailer for T3) months old?

The last Interplay product I bought was FOT. I don't think they need any boycott as they have no good games that sell. If they really make sth good, I don't think boycotting is necessary either.
