no, windows cant be the reason for this problem. being honest i have no idea what could went wrong... maybe you installed it into a wrong direcotry (not into your FOT direcotry, fe c:\program files\14 degrees east\Fallout Tactics\, but somewhere else), but then the exe file should show something... oh, and what does it mean awaken wont show up?? when you run the shortcut from the desktop (named Fallout Awaken) then it still runs the default campaing??

Weird....should work under Win98. Did you install the patches in the order mentioned?

Upgrade to 1.27 1st (english)
2nd, Polish upgrade
3rd, Polish to English translation
4th the latest patch 1.32 (english)

Have you been to MS and downloaded the latest DirectX Drivers?

I'm using XP, but I orginally played Tatics (not Awaken) on Win98

Hi all!!

I have a problem with the "Bank job" quest. When I come to the back door, the guard turns hostile & stops moving around (guards the door

). Is there any way to kill him and not get the whole city hostile ???

And one more. I have lockpick on 104% and can't open the Bank door

Is this a bug, or do I need a better "opener" ??

AND WhErE to hell is the 3rd part for the train??? (i have the part's from the bandit camp and Military base)

i just got around to playing Awaken, and im already stuck! (not really stuck, but im obsesive about finishing everything in a game)

in... junktown/rust town i cant find the guy with the lordofthe rings book, mainly because i dont know what im looking for... some help would be apreciated.

He is by the main entrance in Rust Town, or along that wall.

Hey guys, I've posted this question in another thread but I thought I'd put it in here too in case anyone has the answer - otherwise I think I'm gonna have to go from the start again!

I've wiped out the BOS for the SOH and wiped out the ghouls on my return to the SOH base. But now I'm stuck, travelled the wastes, no-one left to talk to, no more quests to do. What do I do now? I wonder if I should speak to Oliver, but I can't save him from the ghoul attack.

BTW, I have two train pieces - the reactor and the ignition.

I think I'm gonna have to take a break then restart and do the BOS quests instead of joining the SOH

HELP!

Prunk - talk to quentin in the soh base, he should tell you what to do

Maximous - if you worked for the junkers dope fish would tell you to get this book, otherwise it's useless

is it just me? or is it impossible to steal money without being caught?
i havent even been able to steal 1 cap without being caught, on the other hand.. i can steal big heavy things/etc that would seem to be harder to steal than money.

also...
ive been talking to a bunch of people, sometimes they say something that sounds like its a quest, but no quest is activated. (such as the woman under the casino in Newchigago. i need to do something with the still, but i dont know what because there is no quest.

aslo...
how do i rob the bank? i couldnt find a key to any of the doors, do i just need a really good lockpick skill?

great fun so far.

Stealing is very hard....I've never gotten away with it.

The bank.....you need to do a quest for the.....place to the east about 2 buildings down, behind the play yard, they have gaurds on top of building...talk to Jane....think they are the either Junkers or some kind of thieves.

Aaaargh!

I think I've found a rather nasty bug

Yet more spoilers coming I suspect ...

I've given all three engines parts to the mechanic in Silent Trains. I run down towards the carriages and the screen changes to show the opening frame of a movie with what I suspect is a train ... then it locks! No matter what I do it won't go past that opening shot and I have to close the game down in task manager.

Is this a known bug?

Can I fix it?

That also happened to me , if you really want to continue , try hit enter as soon as the movie starts , if you are lucky the game will not lock and you will procede to the ghouls base.

or just delete the awaken\movie\train.bik file

I am a noob to duck and cover, and would like to ressurect tis long-dead thread.

I've only just begun playing the fantastic Awaken mod for Fallout Tactics.

There's one thing that's bugging me the most tho... the DARN BANK LOCKERS KEY!!
I read the letters, and have found a key near Bruce dick and son... but it only works on one lockewr!!

Macbeth, please tell me you are still active on this thread, and can help me out.
