UPDATE: BETA TEST OVER/FINAL VERSION RELEASED!!!

Like Tactics? Found a cool mod for another game that reminds you of Fallout? Playing those crappy spin-off console games called "Fallout"? Discuss here.

UPDATE: BETA TEST OVER/FINAL VERSION RELEASED!!!

Post by Max-Violence »

The beta test is over. The beta version of the map is no longer available for DL. Thanks to all participants! Well, the one who gave me some feedback, anyway... (thanks, Req!). To the rest of you: SHAME ON YOU!

Just kidding! Feel free to comment (email, PM, post here, etc.).

UPDATE: The final version of the map has been posted on my Geocities website. I'll be sending to Kreegle and Odin as soon as they get on ICQ.

Enjoy and don't forget to email me some feedback, or, better yet, post in the thread I made in the Map Reviews forum.

Well, I have JJ86's email address, but I lack yours, Strapon2. Y'see, I'm not actually posting it yet, so I have to send you the download link somehow (hence the bit about email/PMing me).

I'll probably get the thing uploaded sometime later tonight... about 4 or so hours from now, possibly sooner.

Egh, I got time to kill. Hook me up as well, I'll give some feedback. I used to be a beta-tester so I know how to make sure that theres no bugs or anything.

The link to DL it is in the first post: I changed this situation from a "private" beta test to a public one :)

Makes sense, Geocities was just being a pain in the ass and wouldn't allow the download. Maybe make another site incase this gets popular?

You copy/pasted the DL link into your browser, right?

And yep, once I get the final version of this map posted, I'll be making myself a sweet lil' website that will NOT be on GeoShitties.

Hmm the link worked fine for me, I clicked on it and Getright automatically started to download it.

Whelp, the beta-test is now officially OVER. Expect to see the final, revamped & overhauled Revenge2 to be posted quite soon!

Thanks to all who gave me some feedback. Let's see... that'd be... Requiem, and... me... and... hmm...

At any rate, feel free to comment about the beta version of the map!

Well, as long as you DL'd the map when it was posted, you can still play it and tell me what's what.

Assuming you DL'd it in the first place, of course...

3 hours? Sweet Jesus!

*cough* Well, if you reinstall, you'll be able to play not only this map, but all the others I've made (about 14 or 15 in all, I don't remember), plus all the ones that others have made (Endocore, 46 & 2, Requiem, some guy called OTB, etc.), PLUS all the ones yet to be released!

So, yeah, I'd say it's worth 3 hours. Read a book, watch TV, take a long walk, take your significant other out to dinner (or get taken out to dinner), or something while it installs. Of course, you've have to check in every so often to change CDs.

3 hours... good lawd!

would you mind pointing me to your best maps? i could never choose which ones to install, and because they were all a pain in the ass to install, i never really tried a lot of them. yea

ill reinstall, try it out, and give feedback

I know Jailbreak and Rebellion are pains in the asses (?) to install, but all the others are simply "extract the contents of the zip to your /core/ folder." Bear in mind that with Deathclaw Desert Chs. 1, 2, and 5, the zip will overwrite two of the files from the normal game. Unless, of course, you've never extracted them from the .bos files (i.e. you've never mapped/modded for FOT before).

I think my "best" map is Deathclaw Desert Ch. 5. Jailbreak 1 is also one of my faves. Personally, and going by the meager amount of feedback I get, all of my maps are "good." I've yet to get a "OMG U STUPED N00B U RUIND FO OMG OMG OMG FU!!!" email, so I guess I'm doing something right :)
