Hunting rifle found in Vault 15

Post by toughlilgecko »

On a recent Fallout run, I actually gave some thought to the presence of .223 ammo on level two, rather than just scarf it up and move on. I looked around for a while and sure enough found a hunting rifle in the bathroom of one of the living quarters (lower left hand). I wonder: on the third level, in the learning center, there's a wall locker with some .44 ammo. Is there a Desert Eagle tucked away somewhere too?

I found it the first time I played Fallout, but only because I wanted to search through the entire Vault15, and because my friend pointed it out...

If you're anyway gonna kill everything (me like killing rats), you can as well search through the whole place IMO.

I like that... I never thought of looking for a hunting-rifle, so I never found it... I'll add it to my walkthrough asap!

As for the DE, maybe there is one down there...

Um... Vault 15 is pretty much closer to the starting point than The Glow, eh? :?

Yeah, well I figured that as long as I need a rope to get down there I might as well head for the glow first. I mean you have to get the chip from Necropolis anyway so going a little farther out of the way to the glow isn't so bad. :?:

But... you can get ropes from Shady Sands, which is even closer to the beginning than V15 or Glow! :?

Not to mention, going to the Glow in the beginning makes the rest of the game a zinch and thereby a total bore!

How very true..

But I haven't yet found the rifle....well, like Slider said, thanks for giving a reason to start Fallout all over again...it's been a while a last time played...gonna be nice.

I played first FO2, then FO. You can guess how easy FO seemed after FO2, but it was still fun. :D

Aargh. My net is breaking, this si the third time I try to write this.
Here we go:

I found no DEagle from V-15, but on the third level, is computer room where you find the ammo. In the next computer room you find First Aid book on the floor.
BUt you all propably already knew this, right?
