Warranty Replacements

I've been reading the posts and it seems a common problem with the CD's that certain Sprite files get deleted (Some can't see Reavers, Some Can't see BOS soldiers in the bunkers, I couldn't see the Robots in Great Bend). Anyway after trying everything I could think of, I wrote interplay and got their scripted "help" response e-mail and tried everything there. Finally after about 6 e-mails, they said to send in the CD's to the Warranty Replacements as per the book enclosed in the software. I did and it's been 3 weeks since they got them. I'm going Nuts...reading your posts and realizing what fun I never knew about, I want my CD's back. ANYWAY,.....has anyone sent their CDs in? How long did it take to get a replacement? I'm only about 3 hours away from Irvine. I'm thinking of driving down there, going ballistic, and asking for my d*mn cd's back!! LOL!! While I'm at it, I think I'll threaten them to hurry up with FO3 And FOT2!!!! LOL!! :mad:

Just kidding, I keep my violence limited to the comp screen!! But how much longer? any clues??

Erm, I think you could've just DL'd a ~75 meg patch to "fix" all of the missing sprites in yer game.

Not like that helps you now, tho

You are better off getting a copied disk from someone else than sending your disk off to get replaced. Unless they give you something special in the process....

Why is that? Does it take that long? I know one thing, when(IF) Interplay ever gets me my disks back, I'm gonna burn 2 copies:
1. one copy as a master copy
2. one as my play copy until they burn out(Then I'll burn another copy from the master copy)

The originals will go in my Vault!! LOL!!! Never to be used except in case of (nuclear) war!

One of my friends had the same problem, Riddick... It took 2 months to get it back! He was pritty pissed, so i burned him a copy.

Thanks for the G2 (info) guys. I got my CD's back Thursday Oct 3rd. A little less than a month. Not bad considering I live less than 200 miles away. Anyway, the new CD's Worked. First thing I did was burned 2 copies. The orginals are going in Cheyanne Mountain in a fire safe behind Vault doors!! LOL!! Sorry I haven't posted, but man, I've been catching up on lost fun!! LOL!1 :onfire: whoooohooooooo!!! I Love this game. To all of you who think tactics stink, and fallout 1&2 rules, cool...to each his own, but make mine Tactics!!! Thanks again gang!
