I hold no expectations for it at all, as I have no intention of playing it. I already have a few friends jerking off to it, but considering Bethsoft spends ten times the effort in its marketing campaign as compared to the actual game development I can only expect the worst.

New Vegas seems very much the apex of the Oblivion engine. A new one can only mean a greater maximum potential-- whether or not it gets realized.
