Collector's Edition

The game itself is installing now, but everything in the Collector's Edition oozes quality. Was kind of apprehensive about it considering the quality of the Best Buy pre-order coasters is questionable.

If the game is as well-written as All Roads, the comic that comes with it, this is going to be fucking awesome.

You do seem sightly to hyped about this and if you weren't you and this was some other forum I might call you a fanboy. Isn't one thread enough?

Bloody hell, buying the collectors edition even.
Anyway looking forward for that review of yours.

Well it's all well and good the CE goodies seem well and good. More concerned about the gameplay being nearly identical to Fallout 3 which is what it looks like so far.

Played it for about 7 hours last night and can the same for the game itself. Although instead of "oozing quality" I'd argue it "radiates" it.

Did anyone else notice the morse code on the inside rim of the platinum poker chip? It translates to 232087 on the lucky side and 112281 on the other? Anyone know what it means?

I noticed there was morse code, but haven't deciphered it yet. The reason I noticed was in the intro (and right at the beginning of the game) what's taken from you is the platinum chip, so I examined it further and found the morse code on it.

I bet it's map coordinates.

so i was gonna get it, but then i was like "it looks exactly like fallout 3 and fallout three was 'meh'", so i decided to hold off. To those who have it- Is the story/dialogue/setting great enough to actually make up for the shit gameplay?

The story, dialogue and setting are great enough to make up for Fallout 3's shitty gameplay, except with a new emphasis on meaningful skills and proper shooting combat, there isn't much of Fallout 3's shit gameplay.

That's interesting.

Though any combination with 11 first (11,22) (11,23) (11,20) leads into the ocean. 23 leads to Israel.

Makes perfect sense. The unlucky side has the date of the Great War. The lucky side has the date of events of New Vegas. lolz for deaf people

I think they are activation codes for bonus content.

Could be wrong, though.
