Fallout: New Vegas map revealed!

Post by King of Creation »

[ Game -> Preview ] - More info on Game: Fallout: New Vegas

Duck and Cover is proud to present to you leaked images of the entire map of the Mojave Wasteland. The images popped up in IRC and appear to be legit. We obviously can't really make out the words in the images, but it gives you a good idea of what to look forward to when Fallout: New Vegas is released next week.

Is it me or does it look even smaller than F3's map?

Fallout 3's map was too big, judging by the fact there wasn't really anything in it but open desert.

I'd rather have a game with a smaller map that's interesting than huge expanses of nothing.

Thanks for the update KoC.
I don't get why they would list all the collectibles beforehand. Its that sort of stuff you'd want to explore yourself. But its a cool thing.

I agree with Retlaw. Since there are no events during fasttravelling in the previous crappy game the vast distances only become a gameplay issue even though they are realistic. I prefer this to. Ofcourse I'd rather prefer vast distances, vehicles and random events that break up your fast travel but then Bethesda wouldn't be Bethesda.

From what a person I spoke to who is playing the game right now said, Fallout: New Vegas has a very Fallout 2 feel.

I think this MAY be the map from the strategy guide, the last game's strategy guide had a map just like this.Yes, I'm a sad little boy who bought the strategy guide, I did it because I could NOT figure out how to get to fucking Tacoma:P

Fallout 3's strategy guide was filled to the brim with inconsistencies and typos. I remember reading through my friend's copy and getting frustrated because things it promised me were not there.

I still want my fucking extra END point, damnit

Is there anywhere I can buy a fallout new Vegas map? I'm having a little trouble with finding locations.

If you're willing to shell out money, you should consider getting the game's official strategy guide. Comes with a rather large map with a great deal of detail and plenty of explanation.
