As I design my next FOT SP adventure (of which is an adventure all it's own ), Revenge, I wonder if AP ammo has any use over the other ammo types (JHP, Ball) vs. Robots or other heavily-armored enemies.
It's been ages since I've dealt with Robots n' the like, so any input would be super-spiffy-neato.
Is AP ammo actually useful?

You bet it is. I do, however, recommend that you tamper w/your ammo doc and just set all of the "AP-like" ammo types to "AP". DU is exceptionally useful against robots.
Also, if you're too lazy to make your own sprites for AP variants of common ammo types that weren't included in the core campaign, Domin's sprite pack contains a load of 'em.

It's not that I'm lazy (I am, though), it's that I dunno how to make 'em with PSP.OnTheBounce wrote:if you're too lazy to make your own sprites

Poor JJ86.
BTW, you may consider tampering w/the DT/DR of your well-armored entities as well. AP ammo works best against low-DT/high-DR opponents, since the loss of 25% of the base damage can hinder its overcoming the target's DT. These types of opponents are also very much resistant to JHP ammo. This way the ammo works the way it is supposed to.
