Didn't everyone live in their own shit under constant threat of starvation with no access to entertainment back then?

From the sound of it, it's one of those console versions of the Sims.

I remember when Will Wright allowed outsiders to rape the SimCity franchise so he could make a game about germs evolving into George Bushes and chairs.

Remember when Will Wright let outsiders rape SimCity to make a game about people's lives, then he let outsiders rape the Sims so he could make a game about germs evolving into George Bushes.

That's the chronology you're looking for.

Touche, though I did enjoy Sims 2 and I did hate SimCity Societies. And Sims 3.

I prefer the Sims 3 over 2 because of load times, the neighborhood being integrated, and better house building.

What pisses me off about the Sims 3 is it didn't ship with as many options as the Sims 2, so they can sell more expansion packs.

Never played a Sim game in my life except I think Simcity in computer class but I didn't know how to play so I often played another game that allowed me to hit buttons on the keyboard and do stuff I understood.

I will probably never play a Sim game in the future either.

I'm bitching about the cash-in, low quality console spinoffs and various idiot expansion packs. The base product for all three main Sims games has been solid.

That was great. Do you still have it? Isn't there an online mode?

I haven't played it in years. :hyper:

The last time I did, I found the interface to be very cumbersome. In stark contrast to my earlier memories of it. And stopped. Can't remember as to multiplayer. :drunk:

Sims ants was the shit i doubt that they'd make anything of the like now days unless you can make it piss itself, starve it and then set it on fire :flamed:

Medieval was exactly like the rest of The Sims series:
1. Get a goal
2. Juggle needs and wants and jobs
3. Achieve said goals after multiple days (in rl yo)
4. Feel empty and pathetic
5. Wash, rinse, repeat

You guys actually play Sims 2-3? Wow.
Talk about coming out of the closet.

I betcha you'll probably buy this one to eh?

Now Sim Ant and Sim Tower, those were games yo!

Anything beyond Sims is like putting lipstick on a pig.
Sure there's an expanded interaction with the outside world. But if you want your sims game to be more of a tool for social interaction instead of any real simulation then go off and play Second Life.
