Red Dead Redemption

Comes out May 18th. And I know I'm not the only one genuinely enthused about it-- game looks amazing. It's a open-world western based on GTA IV's engine, with the AI reaction technology used in Star Wars TFU (which had a beautiful visual presentation despite poor gameplay mechanics).
At heart, however, I can see a core similarity to Fallout despite the fact that post-apoc and frontier western are two entirely different genres. While there is no futuristic technology or 50s overtones, it's still a struggle for survival in the unforgiving desert.

Yeah, but unlike Bethesda's take on survival in the desert, it looks like this will actually be workable.

The first one was decent but definitely not a 5 of 5. Also wasn't free roam.
