Brother None,

I don't feel like taking the time to find the exact filing that discusses the deal with I2G. There is no guarantee in the deal that I2G will obtain the funding for the 4 earlier mentioned Interplay games, and the deal was subject to certain undisclosed stipulations, such as the amount of money that must be raised for each game by I2G in order to use the licenses. I looked quickly at the first quarterly I found. In that quarterly, they just briefly summarized the deal. Wha we don't know is what percentage each party gets, what happens if I2G doesn' raise the required amount, etc. the particular passage I cut and pasted didn't state all of what we know thus far, which is that deal was struck for the 4 games I mentioned subject to certain stipulations.

the two filings today of I2G and the huge New York Investment firm disclosing their large holdings seems like this deal or part of this deal went through. We shall soon know more...

To the newer guys who feel they should enlighten Brother None, it's best to save the effort. He sees what he wants to see and no amount of reality will change his mind. Plus, he's not really from DAC but from NMA, feeding off our news information like a parasite.

Because it doesn't exist?

Let's be clear here; because DaC is such a reputable news source, other sites will just run with the story without doing fact-checking of their own*. All I see is licensing going one way, not the other.
Now, it's well possible I missed a filing on I2G. This was the first time they were mentioned, with no mention of 4 games being funded by them. Did I miss a big announcement? From this post, it seems the filing we've been referring to is your source for this whole thing, and as said, that filing does not say what you think it to say; no where does it indicate I2G-Interplay's GPA is related to those four titles, or even whether those titles would be developed as ports, sequels or rereleases.
If not, point me to the real deal, otherwise I'm calling bullshit (and so should KoC to be honest, but wth, that won't pay dem bills).
Retlaw83 wrote:He sees what he wants to see and no amount of reality will change his mind.
Normally I'd agree with you. But in the presence of Interplay investors, even my ability to twist reality to my perspective is dwarfed.

* Why DaC is running it without fact-checking is, of course, another matter. Roofles!

I reported on what the recent filings said, and then, lo and behold, Interplay investors come and say things. I trust Frymuchan, which is why he is quoted in the story. There is no "fact-checking" to be done beyond what is already on the table.

Sorry I don't "freelance" for some more "respectable" news site. I do this as a hobby because I enjoy it, not because I get any sort of compensation out of it.

Thanks for stopping by.

In Journalism isn't this called a lead or hook? Two statements that are true but not exactly........

I don't see a problem with it, major media uses it all the time. They get viewers/readers, you get informed.

I believe KOC had good intentions by informing the community add a little speculation.... NMA comes knock'in.

Strange Brother None, I remember telling you last time that Roofles isn't a funny word.

Here's a thought - you used the word incorrectly and need to suck my balls.
Teeeheee! *spins around peeing* I can see you!

Sad.

Failed.

Fatman.

Not only is it undeniably true that I used the word correctly by its scientific consensus definition, it is true to such an extent that you have even given up on trying to undercut it! This is hilarious, flabbly! Given up, have we? Realized we might need to do a bit more reading before going up against our intellectual betters?

Roofles.

I win!
Havn't been on this site as long as most, still pretty new blah blah

But after reading this...

1) Calling somebody fat after having your argument pulled apart intelligently is like pissing your pants with a grin on your face. Sure you get the satisfaction of pissing, but you still look like a retard with urinary problems.

2) "Roofles" will NEVER be considered a funny/witty internet phrase. Ever.

Sorry to burst in like this BN, but, call it a pet peeve, I can't stand idiots who think that winning an intelligent argument simply consists of childish name-calling. And hey, this is from a guy who has no idea what you're arguing about, even sided observation, just saying when you behave like a twat, your argument instantly becomes worthless.

The guy's problem, is that NMA like to seem like the authority on Fallout etc, meaning they can, in no way, produce something that's incorrect. Problem with that, is any news they do have they steal from DAC's front page anyway. I read NMA sometimes, and every news story is always followed by "thanks to the guys at DAC".

He's probably just pissed off that he has to come up with a different news story for the gang, rather than farm this site.

Oh FFS, the Roofles is an inside joke for older Fallout fans, if you don't get it, don't comment on it.

Heh. I think you tried this line already last time. Gonna have to try harder than that, lil' troll.

Considering I'm on your side here, KoC, I don't see what you're getting all ballbetrod over. NMA trusted Frymuchan at his word to, to post the "Interplay wins preliminary injunction hearing", that was wrong, NMA looked stupid.

Dude's an investor, but he's shown himself to make the wrong analysis - usually in favour of Interplay - at times. Aren't you even a little bit skeptical here? If you are, but simply don't give a shit, then that's fair enough tho'.

Also, why the quotation marks around freelance?

Really? I don't believe I have, everything I've ever said to you I've just posted in the quote, to the best of my knowledge at least, fancy showing me where I've said that before?

Dang, this Brother None fellow sure is one mixed up dude, wound up so tight he's liable to pop a spring. I thought maybe he just came on this site and tooted his horn like this, but I also saw some of his posts on nma, and he's just as arrogant, condescending, bitter at life, and pitiful on that site too.

Poor guy, I think he could use a good lay, might help him to loosen up a bit and be a little less angry at the world. Maybe some day he'll get lucky and meet someone with low standards and poor taste.

No, it's not. Go back to NMA - I hear they have achievements for posting that should hold your attention.

In the past couple weeks, I've stopped by NMA twice to see what their GD section and news looks like. There was never any point where NMA didn't look stupid.

I seem to remember hearing that Descent 3 sucked balls. I'm only interested in who owns the IP to Freespace. Interplay or Violition?

I'm not much on paying taxes off of one's own work but when you have wealthy people whose wealth depends on controlling the Governments of the nations they don't want to pay taxes to, that is something I do not agree with.

The individual who has barely enough to survive should not be paying the heavy and hidden taxes of inflation based on the currency devaluation that will inevitably occur when budgets are out of whack.

To make the lower end of the societal strata pay the heavier burden is the definition of Anti-Christ: taking from the poor to give to the rich.

There is a way to liquidate the wealth of the ultra rich via the same legal financial terrorism methods many of them use to get richer.

As far as the European vs US cartels, let's just say this sad but true fact: Whomever has the most advanced weaponry ends up with the strongest currency.

If London bankers and their European/US Merchant banking agents trigger a big enough world economic collapse that pushes another billion people into poverty, they are going to find out why the United States has massive military budgets that even the US President does not know about.

There are 27 security clearance levels above the rank of the so called "Leader of the Free World"

Bill Clinton once said he doesn't have enough clearance for some of the things that go on in the Department of Defense.

People can scoff at what I say all they want and I recommend it :evil_laugh: , and then when the time comes when they are exposed to the hidden technology, they're going to think it's not of this world and might end up doubting their own eyes and ears.
Some of your points on social critique are valid. Needless to say, America has its own problems in that department.
You exaggerate their effect, however. As an economic powerhouse, the EU is a fairly new player on the world stage and is very far from yet reaching its potential. The euro will stay strong.
In my opinion, our biggest problem in the near future - the population. In 1900, Europe housed 25% of the world's population, by 2050 it will be 7%, with 1/3 over 60.

All your points are fair in the scope of the economic based "reality" that cannot be ignored in that Europe's indigenous population is continuing to decrease and you need more and more immigrants and new people born to take the jobs that said population finds it beneath them to take in order to pay for all the entitlements due an aging population. Japan's 2+ decade long recession( at the height of their mania in 1990 a home went for 1 mil that goes for 350k today) is mainly due to a speculative housing bubble combined with an aging and declining population.

The US is experiencing the bust from the baby boom but one thing that is being overlooked is the massive budget deficits went to completely different things.

In Europe, you had socialism based entitlement deficits but in the US the primary source of the deficits so far have been massive defense spending much of which is so secretive that the President does not have enough clearance to know about it.

There are at least 40% of the United States Military personnel that believe in an apocalyptic vision of the World much more so than even the Orthodox Priests.

There are people that are working behind the scenes to create "Revelations" and bring about Armageddon( It's not just Ahmadinejad)

You need to open your eyes and listen to their wording.

They have a bomb called MOAB: Not just standing for mother of All Bombs but for the biblical MOAB.

They also are working on things called the Rods of GOD.

You should also read the Book "Racing Towards Armageddon" by Michael Baigent.

More quotes: "Mustard Seed" economic recovery = Faith of a Mustard Seed mentioned by Jesus.

Former under Secretary of State of US is the son of my neighbor. His "Leader" Condaleeza Rice spoke of "Birth Pangs" rebirth in middle East = Woman in Labor Birth Pangs Jesus Speak.

The United Sates Seal Has an Eagle( 4th Revelation Beast that arises out of a Lion( Britain/USA being the Daniel Prophecy of the Wings of an Eagle coming out of a Lion).

On its right hand are Olive Branches( Symbol of Peace)
On its left hand are Arrows( Symbol of Rockets Reg Glare/War)

Either you accept peace on its terms or you are subjected to Judgment on its terms.

The United States has been conditioned as the 4th Reich, An ultra competitive country that is as divisive as it is uniting. Kids are bred to be superior and the ones that cannot become the servants.

A Country ordering GOD to bless it rather than the other way around.

Prior to The Beginning of the 20th Century, different religious belief in the United States were more tolerated than is today. Today religious belief is integrated into a race/ethnic war.

There are corrupt elements in the Military Industrial Complex that are sucking at the teat of the Armageddon Complex that has been bred into the populace whether it is religious or not. either by infiltration of the religious institutes or mass media control including the most popular form: Cinema.

The United States saved the Europeans for a Despot who was going to engulf the world in his vision of a 1000 year kingdom that was going to rule with an iron fist since Kingdoms usually subjugate the masses in this reality of ours.

The Europeans, who are largely non apocalyptic in their religious believes and or agnostic or carnally atheist, see the Threat that has them under control right now.

They've been busy building up the Euro as a counter measure against a Country that has grown to consume 30% of the World's resources as a byproduct of its Military Superiority and its ability to endless print money and package it in exotic ways in order to maintain its superiority economically.

The Europeans have been building up China to become a Super Power to counter the United States since they know they cannot do anything about the US by themselves. By doing this, they think they can weaken the United States but may end up triggering a confrontation between the US and China/Russia over resources in this century.

If the Europeans succeed in bringing the United States to its knees financially, the United States will not stand by idly but will literally abolish its constitutional republic and either break apart or become a monster that will unleash its secret military technology in an overthrow of all European monarchies and associated banking infrastructure.

It is the ultimate fail safe weapon. The Europeans know there has been something very wrong with the way the United States has been going on its business and either their elite are on the same page and have been lying to their people or they are playing with fire.

The current economic collapse crisis might be a cover for something more dire that is a real crisis. They built the seed vault north of 40 degrees deep in the Mountains in Norway in near record time a couple of years ago.

Over 95% of the critical Functional pieces of the US Government have been replicated and instituted deep in the Mountains of Colorado. It might not even be for terror strike contingency either.

By 2013 Washington DC Might be underwater from rising ocean waves in case of a polar or magnetic shift or both.

You should see what the United States is building near the North Pole. let's just say it's a structure that some inadvertent witnesses have seen Helicopters enter its football field size capstone opening.

My suspicion is the United States Secret DOD and CIA Black Ops Wall Street racket funding has been building the Massive Pyramid that is mentioned in Revelations while China has been getting the subcontract for building other Earth Changes level material that even their economy cannot account for the level of Iron Ore shipment to go with the economic collapse.

After 9/11, We have had a confirmed shadow Government Cabinet that is unelected that goes into effect if and when a catastrophe occurs.

The Elite are afraid of a catastrophic Earth Change event and they are using the economic collapse as a cover to distract from their intentions.

Within a few years you will see what I am talking about with your own eyes as you look at Aurora from a modern day "Carrington Effect" in action. The Sun's Magnetic Behavior has been abnormal to say the least and something is brewing.

You digress and a lot of your interpretation of events is paranoid speculation.
I can say the same for Michael Baigent - he has managed to get access to an impressive set of facts but I'm not sure I agree with his conclusions (I read The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail). Incidentally, I had my freemasonry phase more than 5 years ago. Right now, I am too cynical to care about such things any more.
You should the works of my countryman Jüri Lina, I think you'd appreciate them. As the aforementioned author, he comes to some pretty wild conclusions but deep down there, he's got a point.
