Updated: Mark Morgan NOT doing Fallout: New Vegas

Post by King of Creation »

[ Person -> Update ] - More info on Person: Mark Morgan

After the recent rumors that original Fallout composer was back to do the music for Fallout: New Vegas, DAC contacted the man himself. Unfortunately, Mark Morgan is not doing the music. He had this to say:

I am not doing New Vegas, i think their using Inon Zur but I'n not totally sure.

Definitely a disappointment for the community, as Morgan's music is absolutely fantastic and adored by gamers everywhere

which was good music for that game and setting; don;t know how he'll do with Fallout. Anyhow music will be least of the concerns with new Fallout titles and I don't think we care that much anymore.
However it would have been nice to hear Morgan's new work.

Zur is good for epic fantasy, not so much for Fallout.

Ya, his music was a bit too epic for FO3. Remember when they showed off that website with the big music playing. What ever happened to that guy who was above him that used to be the standard for fantasy game music?
