A while back we (sort of) confirmed with Brian Fargo that Inxile Entertainment was delving back into the Wasteland series. In what seems to be another hint at this move, the Inxile website header is boasting some very post-apocalyptic concept images in its header. Check it out:

Seeing as how Fallout was the spiritual successor to Wasteland, such a game would be a welcome return to the old school style for fans of the series.

I never had a chance to play the first one in full (I tried it on abandonware but I lacked the booklet that it said I needed to read), so I'm actually looking forward to it.

Is it the second or the third set of "It-is-going-to-be-Wasteland-2" pics? I've managed to find only this one but I remember (do I?) that there was something else...

Meh, I don't remember hearing about it until I just checked the website.
