Did they cut the time travel elements in the adaptation? In any case, read the book. Vonnegut's style is quite lovely.

Yeah, a very touching movie. I remember watching it first as a kiddo and thought it was a cheesy horror B-movie judging from the title but became pleasantly surprised when I saw nazis and stuff. Ah, memories.

I watched it the other week. The book goes a lot more in depth and is funnier, but for an adaptionantation its not too bad.

Is slaughterhouse Five a book that most people will enjoy or do you have to be into the really zany stuff to like it? I always thought it was a series of books because I never looked into it.
