Exclusive Megatron Interview

Post by POOPERSCOOPER »

[ Person -> Interview ] - News related to Top Story: DAC Exlusive

I interview the mammas gang legend; Megatron. I don't know how to post special content stuff so front page is going to have to do okay.

1. What are your thoughts on Fallout 3?
i didnt think it was that bad for what it was. it reminded me a bit
of that terminator: future shock game except there was a huge map of it
and you could shoot stuff in slow motion. i could only be bothered to
play through once though, eh. i played far cry 2 more.

2. What are your thoughts on Fallout: Vegas?
hi 2 da new boss he's the same as the old boss perhaps. new vegas,
new reno? c'mon gimme a break, jeez. people on here wont like it and
the people who liked fallout 3 probably will, so thats ok. im ok with
that.

3. What is your favorite videogame?
metal gear solid 3 i think, if im in the right mood. at the moment
im playing resident evil 5 a lot with my bud, it's pretty good.

4. What other hobbies do you have besides videogames?
i make some music sometime and write sometime. if im not at
university im usually out drinken. i dont like gin or cider but i like
the rest mebbe

5. What are some of your favorite movies?
ghostbusters, blues brothers, texas chainsaw massacre, wicker man.
i like british stuff, but it gets a bit samey after a while. but after
youve seen all the big blockbuster AFI 100 list bullshit, you have to
look harder for something decent. a real bummer.

6. What are some of your favorite books?
Authors? vonnegut, bukowski, ballard. i like those. i dont read as
often as id like, if its not the right flavour i just ditch it after 30
pages. im going to start reading the biggies i guess, hemingway and
shit. Get on it.

7. What is your response to the legendary status you have at DaC?
gimp mask is better but i have more posts i guess

8. Why do you think you are considered so legendary at DAC?
for all the pranks and lols

9. What do you see for the future of DaC?
who knows for sure. hopefully itll keep truckin. its lasted for
about 10 years or something now hasnt it? a balance between news and
forums. id have thought to maybe broaden what dac reports on, to keep
the forums going, the site going. but its no b.i.g.

10. What are your thought on NMA and the RPGcodex?
rpgcodex is okay last time i checked. its a bit to orientated
around rpg for me. nma is just full of limp dicks in condoms, their
boring as hell and have no chins and weak faces. i dont see why nma
gets all the rep, dac is literally a lot better imhofyi.

11. Are you going to school anymore?
I do art at the university for big boys. its alright, but if i
could go back id probably do a degree with more reading and writing and
less fat art girls

12. What do you do for a living now?
I live off my student loan but i only buy beer and cigarettes so its ok

13. Do you have siblings and if you do how do you get along with them?
I have one of each and I get along with them just fine. everyone in
my family talks or shouts in their sleep so when im at home at night
everyone is screaming at each other. how kubrick.

Thank you, Megatron. If you would like to see some more questions asked please let me know and I will try to schedule some time with Megatron.

This was interesting, thank you. :salute:

I like your choice of authors. I read The Slaughterhouse Five recently and greatly enjoyed it.

Yeah, Slaughterhouse 5 was rather enjoyable, but I'm afraid to read another of Vonnegut's books; I feel like it might be the exact same stuff.

I'll get Cat's Cradle from the library when I've time. The two Vonnegut books I've attempted besides The Slaughterhouse Five are Galapagos and The Sirens of Titan, both of which I found far less compelling than that book.

I guess part of what I liked about TSF was that Kurt Vonnegut clearly had something to say (or not say) about war; it was a heartfelt read.

I'm reading Breakfast of Champions, one of the better Kurt Vonneguts books in my opinion.
