Nightmare on Elm Street

Post by POOPERSCOOPER »

It's a remake/reboot of the original Nightmare on Elm Street movie and it no longer has Robert England playing freddy but now the guy from Bad News Bears and the Watchemen. Anyways I've always been a fan of the older movies for some reason and I was Freddy Kruger one year for Halloween. The movie wasn't that good since they seemed to cut the parts that kind of set the original a part like the part where they test the girl in her sleep and then there was the detective who was trying to make sense of it all. For some reason modern movies don't like to try and put some added realism in the movie like that.

Anyways, the movie reused some scenes and introduced "micronaps" which is kind of stupid so freddy would like appear even when they are wide awake.

We were going to see the Chris Rock funeral movie but nightmare was right next to it and started sooner so we went in there even though my dad didn't really want to see it. When the box office reports hit on monday you guys can retract about 20 bucks from Freddy.

That first paragraph is why I tend to avoid remakes like an acid bath. Someone I know liked the 'funeral' movie. Perhaps that'll be a batter exp. for you.

I'm still waiting for Inside Man 2 or smthn...
Appearing stupid is sexier than being stupid. Although I hear stoopid was a cut perk in fallout three, but was abandoned when the devs found out it could be simulated by simply playing the game...

I actually saw Death at a Funeral this evening, just came back from it in fact. If you're in a mood to laugh you'd like it, I did.

Tracy Morgan's funny. Ever since I saw him as Brian Fellow, I haven't seen him in something that hasn't made me laugh.

Dunno, but I don't like spending money for something that's totally not worth it.

From 2007. And it's got Frank Oz directing. Hmm...

That would imply that there's reasonable logic behind his actions.

Don't bet on it.

Because remakes bring in money from the "my parents talked about how they watched t but I was too young to then, but I'm 18 now so fuk you mum and dad crowd" who are also built up of the "i like this digitally remastered, star wars v 4.89 was mad explosive yo"

These retards are loaded. I've no doubt the remake will be far more bloody, to appeal to the ever growing "horror films are all about brutally murdering paris hilton yo" crowd.
