It's also Fallouty, as there were tumbleweeds in fallout (at least in Fallout 2).

If you hovered the pointer over them I think you got a message like "It looks dangerous just sitting there, better keep an eye on it".

One of my favorite things from him was when he was whining about how there were going to be Mormons in Black Isle's Fallout 3, because he doesn't play videogames to be subjected to stuff that actually exists.
