Fallout 2 : selling your useless junk

Right, I'm back in Fallout 2 and I have like tons of weapons and shit I've collected from corpses, and I'm having a hard time packing everything in my inventory(225 pounds is quickly reached when carrying rifles and stuff) and Cassidy's inventory is also full with guns. I've been going from town to town(Den, Klamath, Modoc, New Reno, I'm not that far into the game) and most NPCs don't have any money to trade in for my stuff.
Now, I can't remember : do some NPCs' money regenerate over time?

Yes. Their entire inventories (including money) should respawn given enough time.

Take trips down to San Francisco and NCR, otherwise you will end up with stupidly endless stockpiles of junk.

I'd be into doing a F2 mod that makes it so that the more caravan missions you do and to where you go changes/increases the inventories of the merchants.

Just buy a bunch of shit you need like stims and ammo and sell the rest back buying back your own money plus the rest of his. Unload a bit at each vendor until you get to san fran where you can get the shops with a decent amount of money. And yeah, money isn't really an issue.

I liked the OH FUCK MY TRUNK IS FOLLOWING ME bug. Was helpfull.
You could also go invade the raiders secret base and use it to unload shit.. or Vault 13 as I did.

The car trunk bug left me scarred for life; I ain't using it anytime soon. I just sold most of it for stims and ammo, but ammo weights tons too

Bethsoft solved that problem quick and eezy. Thank you mr. Magical stacking ammo of no weight, im a 18 year old girl with anorexia, but a few thousand rounds of 5.56 should not be to much of a hassle dragging around the wastes.
