<p>Just wanted to give the artists on the site a heads up - sorry it's 2/3's over with - here's the info:</p><blockquote dir="ltr" style="margin-right: 0px"><p><em>The 2008 Notes on Game Dev 2D/3D Environment and Character Art Competition is now open for entries. Art will be judged by some of the top talent in game development today including Damian Pannell (Artist, Relic, Vancouver, British Columbia), Doug Oglesby (Concept Artist, Red Storm Entertainment), Jesse Brophy (THQ, Phoenix, AZ), and Nate Purkeypile (World Artist, Bethesda</em></p><p><em>A winner will be selected for each of the four categories (3D Environment Art, 3D Character Art, 2D Environment Art, 2D Character Art), and a Grand Prize Winner will be chosen from these finalists. Winners and runners up will be announced in the Notes on Game Dev and </em><a href="http://blog.sessions.edu/" target="_blank"><em>Notes on Design</em></a><em> Blogs and in their respective newsletters which include 40,000 global subscribers. So what does it have to do with Fallout or post apocalypse?

Nothing.

Bethesda, yes.

DAC related topics, no.


Maybe post about items in Oblivion, since it's also made by bethesda.




It's about time cazsim loses his new poster status, coz he sucks.

actually it doesn't have anything to do with Bethesda, either - but if you've been paying attention for the last forever or so, you'd realize that there are talented artists who do come to this site, whether to submit art, or because they love our lil' cesspool.

Once DU gets the gallery back up, I can add some of the artists, and their artwork, that I've gathered up since we went down a month or so ago.

No, it's not Fallout. No, it's not Bethesda, either. It's for our forum artists.

What's your point again?
