Was it any good? I totally liked Snatch and Lock, Stock, but I heard Luc Besson(producer) screwed up Ritchie's last movie.

I heard about it like years ago and I'm kinda surprised it like got no theater release here in the states that I know of. I'm kinda tempted to hear from anyone who's seen it, I also like his previous films but something must be wrong with this one.

jackie brown was alright, the dialogue was about 200x better than anything quentin tarantino is capable of writing on his own. i'd say he went from pretty good to decent to utter shit: pulp fiction > jackie brown > the kill bills

See the Kill Bills before you judge, plz. They're actually quite entertaining. Much moreso than Pulp Fiction YES I SAID IT.

God, I hated that movie. Let's stop bringing it up every other thread.

Since we're talking Tarantino, I didn't find his early movies particularly good. Always hated the dialogue. Kill Bills were in no way terrific, but I did liked the apparent homage to spaghetti westerns and b-movies in the cinematography and in the way the characters were presented. Of course, these elements are visible in his earlier movies to some degree, as well. Death Proof is better than any Tarantino movie so far. It seems he's finally found the right genre for him. I very much look forward to Inglorious Bastards. I enjoyed the original by Castellari, one of my favorite directors.

Has saying "pulp fiction was bad" become the new trend or something?

No, most people on DAC have never liked Pulp Fiction which is understandable but I actually liked it for the dialog. Thats basically what the whole movie was anyways. The kill bills actually haven't kept my interest like they did when they first came out, it's usually harder for me to re watch those compared to his other films unless its only the actiony type parts.
