Good one, but I'm thinking bona fide Eye-talian western.
With a Morricone soundtrack and a Klaus Kinski cameo. |

I find many spaghetti westerns rather mediocre after you've seen the good the bad and the dreadnought, but I'd recommend the Great Silence by Corbucci. Morricone and Kinski guaranteed! There's a bunch of movies with Franco Nero in the lead, like Companeros, but he's not quite as badass as Clint Eastwood. |

Django. As said, Franko Nero isn't Clint Eastwood, but it's a definate win in my book. |

Supposedly the Coens are doing a Spagetti Western that puts the violence in No Country to shame. Interesting, interesting.... |

What about him? He didn't really do any Spaghetti westerns, just the regular type. |

Duck You Sucker (Fistfull of Dynamite) kicks some major ass. It's Leone Directing with James Coburn in the lead as an ex-IRA terrorist instead of a cowboy type. Rod Steiger is also in it so there is certainly much badassery. |

He played Ghengis Khan and caught some rads from a nuke test during filming in the Nevada desert.
He don't need no spaghetti. |

Two Mules for Sister Sarah.
High Planes Drifter.
The Outlaw Jose Wales.
Hang em High.
Thats what I can see in my stack from where I am sitting. Mostly Clint Eastwood.
There are some John Wayne shit if he is more your style.
I've got a Fistful of Dynamite in my "to watch" stack. |

Yeah great movies, I'm looking for Spaghetti Westerns though, i.e. Italian - a la Once Upon a Time in the West, The Good, Bad and Ugly etc. |

You really can't beat those two. Just watch good bad ugly a few times and you'll be satisfied. Greatest movie ever! |

So I was watching this mexican tv show the other day called like something del hoja or some such, but it had this wicked badass with a way way too small cowboy hat strap, like straight riding his lower lip, and he was wasting people with a fucking thompson.
It was over the goddamn top, I wanna see that again but I can't remember what it was called. |
