CD Action Previews Fallout 3 (Polish)

<strong>[ Game -> Preview ]</strong> - More info on <a href="#Fallout 3">Game: Fallout 3</a>

<p>Polish gaming mag <a target="_self" href="http://cdaction.pl/">CD Action</a> has previewed <em>Fallout 3</em> in their latest issue. <strong>Ausir</strong> was kind enough to translate some highlights for us:</p><p> </p><blockquote><span class="postbody"><em>"It's clearly visible that Fallout 3 is in good
hands. It's all because every element that made Fallout an
extraordinary work was kept or rather recreated."
</em></span>

<span class="postbody"><em> "If you think "Fallout 3 is not Fallout anymore", remember the
conversation with NPCs in the previous games, which were always
presented face-to-face. I dare say that only because of technical
limitations Fallout didn't use FPP from the beginning. There is no
better way of quickly identifying with the character you roleplay than
looking through their eyes, from their perspective..."
</em></span>

<span class="postbody"><em>"Dogmeat or - more likely - one of his descendasnts is going to appear."
</em></span>

<span class="postbody"><em> "It's worth noting that you'll be able to spectacularly destroy most - if not all - elements of the environment."
</em></span>

<span class="postbody"><em> "As Pete Hines said: "We have no intention of removing elements
that made Fallout well... Fallout". Let's take, for example, the system
of radiation and using drugs - one of the screenshots shows effects of
an overdose, maybe a side effect of taking a superstimpack. The sphere
of sexuality will most likely be similarly treated."</em></span></blockquote><p> </p><blockquote><span class="postbody"><em /></span></blockquote><p> </p><blockquote><div align="center"><span class="postbody"><em><a href="http://www.duckandcover.cx/gallery/disp ... ?pos=-1918" target="_self"><img width="72" height="100" border="0" src="http://www.duckandcover.cx/gallery/albu ... nCover.jpg" /></a></em></span></div><span class="postbody"><em> </em></span></blockquote><p> </p><p><span class="postbody">
</span></p><p><span class="postbody">The overdose part might be why the stats in the PipBoy screenshot are 5 points lower than they should be.</span> You can visit CD Action's website <a target="_self" href="http://cdaction.pl/">here</a>.

They should stop making such a fuzz about Dogmeat being in. It's not very interesting, it's as uncreative as most of what Bethesda is doing.

They're not removing anything that made Fallout Fallout? Huh, go figure.

it'll be interesting to see how long dogmeat part 3 lasts with companion AI that dictates he run head first into super mutant nuke launch fire with not much in the way of party commands. here's hoping i can tell the mutt to stay home and watch the water supply.
The answer to your first question is shaddup.

It continually astounds me how many people bring up this silly idea over and over again.

TETRIS SHOULD BE 3D FIRST-PERSON BECAUSE I'M SURE THE ORIGINAL CREATOR OF TETRIS WOULD HAVE MADE IT 3D IF HE HAD THE TECHNOLOGY!!!
