As I said in the preview, Citizens not able to embrace the future are doomed to live in the past...

Bah, viewpoint and combat system is the least of worries considering Bethesda's remarkable ability to make lobotomized gameworlds.

Apache is the guy who runs Voodoo Extreme. He was one of the journalists invited to the Bethesda press event.

It's typically American to think that everything old is bad and everything new is great. That may often be right, but in some cases it's not. As I've said before, an attitude of mindless optimism is as bad as an attitude of mindless pessimism, but the former gets more respect for various behavioural reasons.

lol, don't mean to pee in anyone's corn flakes. long time lurker, just had no reason to post until now. I'm a pretty blunt person, and I think the FPS is the answer to everything. ;)

Will there be cornflakes in FO3? That'd be super realistic.

King of Creation wrote:Well if what a lot of the previews are saying is right, we won't even need to mod the game to get the isometric style viewpoint. It's just a matter of zooming the camera out far enough.
when you run out of APs, the game goes realtime. You've ever seen FPS played in iso view? (like Vasikka said)

Oh btw, as we're talking 'old vs new' here: since when exactly is FPS or pause-featuring gameplay new?

I'd like some examples, for the sake of conversation. What games are we talking about PiP? A "pause" feature is common, but I can't think of any games off the top of my head that allow one to pause in order to call shots, etc.
